Everything about how this is sold follows from a single admission: we cannot tell you the response on your ground, and neither can anyone else.
The trial
A paired block, designed so it can come back negative.
The design is deliberately unglamorous. It is the design an agronomist would specify if they were trying to catch us out, which is roughly the point.
- Pair the blocks Treated and control, matched on soil type, aspect, crop, cultivar, planting date and irrigation schedule. Where the field is variable, the pairing is done on a soil map rather than on convenience.
- Baseline before anything runs Water analysis, soil analysis, and the previous seasons' yield record for both blocks. If the two blocks were not equal last year, we need to know by how much before they are compared this year.
- Fix the endpoints in writing Yield, quality parameters relevant to the crop, water applied, and whatever your buyer actually pays you for. Agreed before installation, along with the result that would count as no response.
- Meter both sides Dissolved oxygen at the emitter, water applied per block, energy drawn by the stage. The cost of running it is recorded in the same exercise as the benefit, so the business case is not assembled afterwards from two different sources.
- Report the outcome as it lands Including when it lands on nothing. A negative paired-block result is information you own about your own ground, and it is cheaper to buy in one season than in five.
Division of labour
We instrument the water. You measure the crop.
That split is not laziness. The numbers a grower acts on should be produced by the grower's own people, or the whole exercise is a supplier grading its own work.
Our side: the treatment stage in-line, gas supply, dissolved oxygen and water quality instrumentation, energy metering, commissioning, and the running of the equipment through the season.
Your side, or your agronomist's: yield, quality, plant measurements, and the operational record of what else changed in the block. Alongside both, a local scientific institution watching the whole thing — see below, because it is a condition of the programme rather than an extra you have to negotiate for.
Nobody's interests are served by a result only one party believes.

Standing oversight
Somebody local, watching all season, who is not us.
A trial run by the supplier, on the supplier's own equipment, is worth about what a grower privately thinks it is worth.
So every programme is designed to run under continuous independent scientific oversight, and on farmland that means the institutions already working in that valley. An agricultural research station. A university irrigation or soil department. The directorate's own agronomists, or the extension officer you already ring when something goes odd in a block.
They are engaged for the season, not walked round on a commissioning day. Dissolved oxygen, water chemistry and energy draw reach them as the logger writes them, at the same moment they reach us, and they are free to sample water, soil and crop with their own instruments and to lay their own historical data for that ground over ours.
Two reasons this is a condition rather than a concession. Irrigation water ends up on food, so the people checking what goes into it should answer to public health rather than to the company selling the kit. And a flat season is only useful to you if a credible outsider watched it happen.
Which means the record exists in more than one place from week one. If the block does nothing, that finding belongs to people who are not on our payroll, and it will survive being shown to a board, a lender or a ministry.
How long it takes to know
Different settings answer at different speeds.
If you need an answer quickly, start where the variables are already controlled. If the money is in field crops, accept that the answer takes a season and design the trial properly.

Reservoir treatment frequently pays for itself in filtration and emitter maintenance before the agronomic question has been settled at all. Where a farm's storage is the bigger problem, Fluid Nano may be the more appropriate system.
After the trial
A contracted season, or a polite ending.
Where the paired block shows a response worth having, the second conversation is about scale: how many blocks, which crops, and whether the reservoir goes on the same contract. Pricing is held capacity against agreed hectares for an agreed season, with gases, equipment, servicing and reporting inside it.
Where it does not, the programme stops. You keep the data, including the baseline work, which is worth something on its own to anyone who later wants to argue about irrigation performance on that ground.
Commercial terms are set by Alarivean, Inc., which operates Credible Ventures systems and holds the contract. Larger national or directorate-scale programmes are structured differently, usually with a local partner and a regional gas supplier, and that conversation is held directly with the operating company.
Before you commit a block
What growers actually ask, and the short answers
Does the irrigation system have to come down to install?
No. The stage sits in-line ahead of your filtration and distribution, and installation is scoped around shutdown windows you already have rather than a new one we ask for.
Laterals and emitters stay exactly as they are. If the trial fails, what you are left with is the system you already had.
Who takes the measurements?
Both parties, on one agreed protocol. We instrument the water side. Your team or your agronomist handles yield and quality, because those are the numbers you will act on and they should not come from the supplier.
And a local scientific institution watches the season with live access to the water-side logs, which is written into the programme rather than offered if you push for it. Where a directorate, a lender or a fund is underwriting the decision, that body is usually the obvious one to ask.
How long before there is an answer?
One crop cycle under glass. One full season on annual field crops. Two or more on perennials and trees, where carryover and alternate bearing make a single year uninformative.
Anyone promising a field-crop answer faster than a season is measuring something that is not yield.
